Who we are?
Our goal to makes better their lives
Mitra equal opportunity trust in the last 7 years of its inception has done many humanitarian projects and has always stood for the betterment of life for the people in need. The aim was to make underprivileged families self-sufficient and financially independent by lighting up their hearts and homes and by helping them acquire employable skills to succeed as individuals. In addition, mitra aims to provide them with security and also impart purpose and direction to their lives.

Our Achievements
The Following is What we have Achieved in
Seven Years
- The trust has spent around rs. 50 lakhs directly and has helped the deserving to obtain help and support from others
- Everyday medical charity clinic
- During 2018 floods which devastated the state of kerala our members visited all the relief camps and reached out to more than 25,000 people and organised many medical and counselling camps for the flood victims
- Provided hlp to construct 38 houses for deserving families to obtain directly the csr support of corporates and voluntary organisations for flood victims of 2018
- Trust helped small scale women business owners who had lost their businesses due to 2018 floods restart their business ventures. Widows and handicapped women were given first priority in rehabilitation work after floods
- After the floods, as part of the rehabilitation work, the trust arranged 100 sewing machines for ladies so that they could generate income from stitching work
- School children were provided with note and textbooks, pencils, pens, school bags and uniforms in villages affected by floods
- After floods reached out to more than 10,000 people with rehabilitation materials which included tarpaulins for construction of houses, bed sheets, blankets, suitcases, dress materials, food items, provisions, utensils, furniture etc.
- During okhi cyclone which affected the kochi coastline in december 2017, actively participated in rehabilitation work and helped to construct 20 toilets. survival kits containing provisions. bed sheets, blankets and dress materials were also provided to families affected by the cyclone
