Medical Intervention, Treatment & Rehabilitation Assistance is a Public Charitable Trust
What is MITRA?
MITRA, acronym for Medical Intervention, Treatment & Rehabilitation Assistance is a Public Charitable Trust formed for providing medical relief to the needy. We have no affiliation to any organisation, political party, religion, caste or creed.
Who formed MITRA?
We belong to the Class of 93′, Bharathamatha School, Palakkad, Kerala, INDIA and currently are positioned in different parts of the globe. This is an endeavor to use our collective strength for the medical treatment of the underprivileged.
Who are the beneficiaries ?
The Trust is established for the benefit of citizens of India without discrimination of caste, religion, creed or sex.
Our logo states – “A charity initiative by Bharathamatha 93 batch”. The word “initiative” means “an introductory act”.
It is only that we took the initiative, the first step to create MITRA. With our own resources, we might be able to provide relief to a limited number of people. But during the process of creating MITRA, the magnitude of the task which we have stepped into dawned on us. There are enough and more cases where we can help and the resources will never be enough. In order to deal with that extra number of cases, moral and financial support of like minded people from the general public is inevitable.
